InMon Corp. announces Hyper-V Network Virtualization support and integration with Microsoft System Center 2012
San Francisco — June 11, 2012 — InMon Corp. today announced that the sFlow® Agent for Windows Server Hyper-V works with the Virtual Machine Manager component of System Center 2012, which is Microsoft's cloud orchestration and virtual machine deployment solution. The sFlow Agent is now easily deployed across cloud and data center environments providing integrated and coherent performance data of all network and system resources.
InMon also announced plans for the sFlow Agent for Windows Server Hyper-V to support the new sFlow network virtualization extension in order to provide visibility into Hyper-V Network Virtualization. Network virtualization is particularly important in cloud environments where tenants share the same physical infrastructure but must be isolated from each other. In such environments it is critically important to have visibility into virtualized networks for performance management, security analysis, and billing.
