This page lets you see who is currently using Traffic Sentinel and allows you to set access priveleges and passwords.
The following options are available:
- Show active users, displays a table showing the hosts currently accessing Traffic Sentinel, their user name, the number of web pages they have accessed, when they started their session, and the time of their most recent activity. This table only shows currently active users, if you want to see a log of previous user activity, each user access is logged as a security event in the event log (see Events>List).
- Change password, change the password for the Operator or Administrator users. The default operator password is operator and the default administrator password is administrator, these should be changed.
- Change access permissions, control the access priveleges needed to view each page. Access control is based on the Menu and Sub Menu at the top of the web page. Access levels are: Guest allowing anyone to access the page without a password; Operator requiring the operator password; and Administrator requiring the administrator password. The administrator can access any page, an operator cannot access administrator pages. The default access permissions require administrator access to reconfigure Traffic Sentinel or examine packet decodes. Guests are allowed to see the File>About page, and all other pages require operator access.
